Twists & Turns

Twists & Turns is a launch film to announce Buxton and Mind’s partnership with Sir Mo Farah. Using various in-camera techniques, stark visuals are created to emulate the ups and downs of life. We wanted the warps of Mo’s mind to feel tactile and authentic, so VFX was avoided and we created everything in-camera. Experimenting with light and reflection, bouncing sources through trays of water, stretching images in mirrors and using lens whacking to create organic distortions.
