Trump vs The Truth
To mark the historic second state visit of President Trump, Channel 4 rolled out an altogether different kind of welcome, by scheduling Trump v The Truth, an unflinching spotlight on his most prolific untruths. With no footage to create promos, our in-house audio agency, 4Voice, wrote and produced an all-day Continuity ident takeover, using a Trump impersonator to misleadingly introduce every show from 6am until the programme itself at 10pm on linear and streaming. The idents also went out on our socials, resulting in our accounts being suspended. Trump might not care about the truth but Channel 4 do.
