The Perfect Gift

The production design for Waitrose’s The Perfect Gift celebrates Britain at its best, creating a romantic, slightly elevated version of the UK at Christmas. Inspired by classic British rom-coms, the team sought out character led real locations with interiors that felt cosy and layered with depth. Each location supported each character pulling you deeper into their individual and very different back stories and the raising the dramatic stakes. Every choice was about deep authenticity, resulting in a production design both charmingly festive and instantly recognisable, capturing a warmth, beauty, and tone that was uniquely owned by the mini movie.
