The story of a local Irishman, Paul, who tries to return a hat lost by tourists. What begins as a straightforward mission unfolds across the island of Ireland, moving through its landscapes, culture and communities, and revealing the warmth, humour and generosity of the people who live there. Shot in 4:3, the film uses carefully composed frames to lend a storybook quality to Paul’s journey, reflecting the character and spirit of the island.
