The Grit & The Glitter
London Museum is the city’s social history museum. As it prepared to open in Smithfield, it needed an identity that could hold contradiction, diversity and debate - without resorting to cliché.
To build an identity that genuinely belonged to Londoners, we hosted over 110 hours of discussion, engaging 503 voices from across London’s boroughs - part of the wider 100,000 Londoners helping to shape the new museum. How has London shaped you - and how have you shaped London?
From these insights, a new brand was built around a single defining principle. The Grit & The Glitter.
