Stranger Things x Telekom: Everything In One Place

Sound design was integral from the outset, focusing on capturing the ethos of Stranger Things. We worked closely with the director from the storyboard stage, allowing us to design foley, machine, and VHS elements ahead of the edit so the sonic identity could take shape early.

To authentically evoke the 1980s setting, audio was treated to reflect the textures and character of the era. The design mirrors the narrative arc, building steadily toward a moment of total sensory overload as the machine explodes. This peak heightens the drama before transitioning into the familiar Stranger Things “Upside Down” audio world.
