See you on the Road
General Motors’ latest brand film reimagines the factory floor as a recording studio, where every cinch of metal, lick of paint and line of code becomes part of a greater composition. Elvis Presley’s If I Can Dream is dissected stem by stem, with each instrument mapped to a stage in GM’s manufacturing line. Meticulous orchestration culminates in a live performance on the Michigan factory floor. Conceived by David Droga as his final campaign, the film proves, as director Jovan Todorović says, “the building of the car isn’t scored by the music; it is the music.”
