Made to be enjoyed, not endured
Bournville (the bar, not the town) was created in 1908 as a simple, no-nonsense dark chocolate, made to be enjoyed by everyone. Since then, the category has grown increasingly self-important and pretentious. Made to be enjoyed, not endured marks Bournville’s first UK campaign in nearly 50 years. The campaign is led by a film that captures an escalating game of one-upmanship between two dark-chocolate aficionados, while a Bournville fan quietly enjoys their bar in the background. The film was written in collaboration with Simon Blackwell (Peep Show, Veep, The Thick of It) and directed by Harold Einstein.
