Just Used Confused
The challenge here was revealing truths instead of telling jokes. When you have something ridiculous like people inflating into balloons, you can’t be caught trying to make people laugh. Being journalistic in tone gives the audience the space to decide for themselves if the ridiculous thing they’re watching is funny. By not pointing at the ridiculous thing as being funny, you gain the audiences trust, which then gives them room to laugh when the funny thing happens - the balloon bursts as they are brought back to painful, mundane reality.
