I'm Not Remarkable

'I'm not remarkable' is a college-based musical featuring genuine college-aged students with disabilities who showcase Apple accessibiity technology. It was co-created with the students themselves whose lived experiences formed the basis for the lyrics of the original song at the heart of the film. Tackling the 'inspiration' trope, where people with disabilities are too often unhelpfully labelled 'remarkable' or 'brave', we instead sought to show our students as they wished to be shown - simply getting on with life, missing lectures, falling in love and dealing with the after-effects of one too many house-parties. Just like any other student.
