Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

For Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, we built the entire world from the page up. Every sound was created from scratch, guided only by the text. We recorded a real steam train, children in a working school, and many authentic remote locations to gather authentic source material. From there, we shaped the emotional narrative through sound design, processing, and synthesis, never leaning on library shortcuts or cinematic shorthand. The result is a fully realised, text faithful soundscape that places the listener inside the story, grounding magic in reality and letting imagination do the rest.
