Godawan 173: Cherish the Rare

Godawan 173: The Collector’s Edition was created to spotlight a rare conservation success—the Great Indian Bustard’s population rising from 96 to 173 through five years of on-ground efforts by Godawan Indian Single Malt Whisky. To shift storytelling from loss to celebration, survival was reframed through luxury and rarity. Rooted in Rajasthan, the brand collaborated with Jaipur Blue Pottery artisans to craft 173 unique ceramic bottles, each representing one surviving bird. Hand-drawn illustrations ensured no two were alike, blending traditional craftsmanship with advocacy. The launch sparked a cultural moment, turning conservation into desire, pride, and global conversation.
