Brooklyn Film Festival: Welcome to Good Screen Time

The Brooklyn Film Festival, championing emerging cinema, faced the challenge of capturing attention in a screen-saturated world. Otherway reimagined its identity with the insight that not all screen time is equal: festival viewing is immersive, intentional and emotional. The campaign, Welcome to Good Screen Time, repurposed digital scroll behaviors, typography, motion design and emoji-inspired 3D forms to guide audiences from distraction to cinematic focus. Sound design reinforced this shift, blending digital stings with cinematic tones. Across digital and physical touchpoints, the festival gained a distinct, culturally relevant voice, boosting engagement and achieving record ticket sales.
