Bring a Book to Life

'Bring a Book to Life’ dramatizes the unique power readers have when using their imaginations to bring the stories to life in their minds. From a samurai duel to a 1950s Berlin train station, a debauched manor and a chaotic post-apocalyptic chase, scenes are paused when the reader looks away from the page – and reignited when they return. The challenge was to differentiate the real world to the imagined worlds within the books, requiring great detail from production design to cinematography to casting and performance direction – to convey the feeling of escaping reality and disappearing into a book.
