The Career Shredder (Mum Your'e Fired)

To raise awareness of the shocking rise in pregnancy and maternity discrimination, we used shredded remnants of real CVs that were destroyed by a giant ‘Career Shredder’. Combining this handmade layout with an arresting headline that alluded to a TV show - airing on BBC1 at the time, and encapsulating the very worst of toxic work culture - we created a visceral press ad that captured the banality and the brutality of this systemic waste. A URL drove readers to careershredder.com where they could add their CV via LinkedIn to show their support, spread the word and find out more.
