Happy Christmassacre
Happy Christmassacre hijacked one of the most comforting symbols of Christmas: the ubiquitous red and white of Santa’s suit. Shot in studio using faux animal pelts, the posters delivered a dark double take. Not Santa’s velvet, but the bloodied fur and feathers of Christmas dinner favourites. Captured as highly controlled still life compositions, every element was meticulously art directed for misdirection and disruption. Placed near supermarkets and butchers, the work confronted shoppers at the point of purchase. The result: striking outdoor craft transformed into a powerful call for compassion and positive change.
