Black Cab

The sound design for Black Cab establishes two distinct and opposing sonic worlds. One is the organic, bustling soundscape of the city: human, chaotic and familiar. The other is the emerging world of technology and artificial intelligence: controlled, unnaturally calm, and quietly threatening.

This conceptual divide is reinforced through processes as well as sounds themselves. All elements connected to RIDAR and the AI-driven future (voices, music, sound effects, and broadcast media) were created entirely using AI tools and prompts. In contrast, the human world was crafted using traditional sound design techniques, free from any AI intervention.
