Black Cab

Black Cab is James Arden’s third short film but by far his most expansive, and the journey to getting it made was a long and sometimes painful one.

Over two years of research went into James’ script - interviewing real cab drivers and gaining real insight into a fast-changing industry with the threat of self-driving taxis on the horizon.

Taking this onto set, James had a laser-sharp vision of what he wanted, yet the maturity and measured calm to listen to his cast and crew’s thoughts at every turn. He deserves all the plaudits going for Black Cab.
